I’m not just a yoga instructor. I’m an empathetic guides skilled in trauma-informed yoga. Our studio is a space where you’re seen, heard, and valued. With a large toolbox of modalities and resources, your yoga path will be rich with support, learning, and compassion.

  • In the Pacific Northwest, where warmth is cherished, we typically maintain our class temperatures at approximately 95 degrees with infrared heat. If you are someone who enjoys a bit more heat, feel free to place your mat next to a heater for some extra warmth.

    You will sweat, but you won’t leave feeling overheated. Infared heat has some amazing benefits that we’re excited to share; we recognize the healing properties and don’t feel the need to crank it up as high as possible.

  • First off, hi! I’m so glad you’re thinking of joining us for hot yoga. It can be intimidating when you first start out, but whether you’re new or a seasoned yogi, you’re in the right place.

    Here’s the story behind it: When I first had the idea to open this space, it was not going to be for hot yoga. After having to shut down Anacortes Yoga Studio to the pandemic, I thought I wouldn’t want to have a space for yoga.

    But I was wrong.

    So this space was originally just going to be used for 1:1 clients, but I decided to create a cozy space for hot yoga in Anacortes because there is a community of you all who has been missing it and I’m super excited to share it with you all again!!

    After teaching large group yoga classes for 13 years, I actually really enjoy a small class. You guys get more of my attention and as my whole entire vibe is about healing—that’s hard to embody when you are packed like sardines. ;)

  • We believe there are several benefits to pre-registering, both for you and for us.

    By pre-registering, I know how many students to expect and prepare accordingly, ensuring that each class is equipped with the necessary resources and space for all participants. It’s a cozy space :) Additionally, pre-registering provides an opportunity for you to plan your schedule in advance and take responsibility for your healing journey.

  • Welcome to being a human being!

    Believe it or not, this is a big fear that a lot of yogis share and have bravely whispered to me throughout the years.

    It’s ok. A release happens sometimes in yoga. It could be from your eyes in the form of tears, nose goo, or other orifices.

    And no, no one says anything and yes, we will continue moving on with the class as if it never happened ;)
